Workshop Overview
DETS-08, 12 – 14 June 2008, Delta Edmonton Centre Suite Hotel (10222 – 102 Street, Edmonton, Canada).
The Centre for Distance Education’s (CDE) Distance Education Technology Symposium 2008 (DETS-08) is in final preparation. The program (see Schedule) covers a broad range of topics related to distance education and training practices, technologies, and research.
DETS attendees and presenters include CDE students and faculty, adjunct faculty, students from other institutions, CDE alumni, and others working in online training education and training. Students and faculty report that DETS is a good opportunity to meet, mingle with, and hear about each other’s work (as well as being socially enjoyable).
