Wendy Kraglund-Gauthier is a researcher and practitioner with an interest in leadership and mentorship in virtual professional learning communities. Her doctoral research with the University of South Australia focused on the transitions made and supports needed for instructors to move from face-to-face to online teaching. Central to her work is achieving and facilitating sound teaching pedagogy, including ways technology can be used in face-to-face and online classrooms to promote collaborative, safe learning for students of differing levels of age and ability. She is a member of Canadian and international educational associations and serves as reviewer for several journals in the field of educational technology and online teaching and learning, and has been an author mentor for the Canadian Journal for New Scholars in Education.
