Dr. Ally's areas of research and expertise include mobile learning, workplace learning, e-learning, distance education, and program planning and development. Dr. Ally has written papers in peer-reviewed journals and chapters in books. He is currently editing two books in the areas of mobile learning and mobile libraries. In addition, he has served on many journal boards, conference committees, and boards of professional associations. Dr. Ally has presented keynote speeches, workshops, papers, and seminars in over twenty different countries. He was the guest editor for a peer-reviewed journal that published a special issue on mobile learning.
