Griff Richards has thirty years experience building systems to assess and enhance human performance. Much of that time was spent in R & D of interactive computer, video and simulation systems (NRCC, CFTS, CAE, ACCESS Network, BCIT), managing courseware production facilities (Westerra Institute and JIBC) and implementing e-learning.

Dr. Richards developed e-learning research programs at Simon Fraser University Surrey, BC’s Francophone Education Authority, and Athabasca University. He is currently designing online learning for Thompson Rivers University Open Learning. A graduate of the Banff School of Advanced Management, Griff takes his change agentry seriously - Ed Tech is a pragmatic set of tools and methods to help individuals and organizations attain their goals. He has been teaching Instructional Design in Athabasca University’s Master of Distance Education program since 2000. Originally from Edmonton, he winters near White Rock and summers in the Shuswap.
